Welcome to The Glimmerglass Festival!

Personal Information Form

(PIF)

Filling out the PIF is the first step to joining us here at the Glimmerglass Festival. This form will take approximately 10 minutes to fill out.

Company Vehicle Usage Agreement

If you are either unable to drive or uncomfortable driving for the Festival, please inform your supervisor and the Director of Company Management, Becky Gill, at rgill@glimmerglass.org

If you will be needed for work-related driving while you are here, you will need to complete the Company Vehicle Usage Agreement and return it to Company Management at rgill@glimmerglass.org. Your information will be sent to our insurance policy for approval and you or your supervisor will be notified when you have been approved to drive.

Work-related driving is operating a motor vehicle in the course of your work, including driving to and from offices, rehearsals, coachings, residences, and other work locations as designated by the company. It may also include other driving as designated by your supervisor. Work-related driving does not include commuting from your home to your primary workplace.

If you have never given your driving information to Glimmerglass before, you must also complete an MV-15GC (General Consent for Release of Personal Information). This document must be signed in front of a Notary Public. Notaries Public can be found at nearly all U.S. banks or law offices.

Parking on Campus

If you have not yet filled out the Parking Permit Form, please take a moment to do so now.

Parking on the North Lawn is weather permitting. Please be respectful of signage and fill up the length of the fence-line to the left of the entrance before starting to park in other spots on the lawn. When parking in the Patron Lot, please keep in mind that on show days there is no parking permitted along the fence-line in order to allow for patrons to park as close to the stairs as possible.

  • Full-time staff and department managers with a White/Silver tag may park in the lot closest to the Woodcock Administration building with overflow into the lower lot.

  • Seasonal Department Heads with a Blue tag may park near the trailers and along the grass in designated areas so long as the back of their vehicle is pulled all the way off of the pavement.

  • Orchestra members with a Green tag may park in the lower lot on the side closest to the theatre.

  • Guest Artists and Music Staff with a Yellow tag may park in the lower lot on the side closest to the Woodcock Administration Building.

  • Young Artists and Apprentices with an Orange tag may park in the Patron Lot across the street.

  • Seasonal Staff with a Pink tag may park on the North Lawn or in the Patron Lot. Wyatt has graciously thought of a flag system to allow for an indicator as to whether or not the North Lawn is available to park in. If the flag at the end of the drive is green, you may park on the grass on the North Lawn (green means grass). If the flag at the end of the drive is red, you may park in the Patron Lot.

Any Company Member attending a performance which they are not working should park across the street in the Patron Lot. Please display your parking pass whenever you are parked on campus (or keep it up all the time so that I can enthusiastically wave at you whenever we pass on the road). Keep in mind that all parking procedures and locations are subject to change based on weather, attendance, patron accessibility, special events, etc.

For the safety of staff and patrons and dogs, PLEASE observe speed limits on campus and ensure that large vehicles and delivery trucks have clear pathways to all the buildings they need.

MAIL

Mail Information:

Due to the Glimmerglass Festival’s rural location, there are several important things you need to know about mail and package services.

  1. When you fill out a change of address card at your current post office, be sure to check the “temporary move” box and enter the date you plan on LEAVING Glimmerglass. Do this even if you do not plan to return to your current address. When you leave Glimmerglass, you need to fill out another change of address card and submit it to your ORIGINAL post office. This will cancel your temporary address change and have your mail routed to your next address. This may sound odd, but it is necessary to do it this way because the Springfield Center Post Office is run by ONE postal employee; during the off-season, they are unable to keep up with forwarding mail for our 400 seasonal employees.

  2. Due to federal guidelines, all personal mail sent to the business office will be opened by the receptionist and all mail sent by the United States Postal Service to the physical address will be returned to sender. All mail sent to you through the United States Postal Service should be sent to the Seasonal Staff Mailing Address. All mail intended to reach the business office should be sent to the Business Mailing Address. All personal packages (yes, including Amazon) or letters sent via UPS, FedEx, or Airborne Express MUST be sent to our Seasonal Staff Package Address.

Complimentary ticket form

At selected performances, you are entitled to two (2) complimentary tickets per production in the Front Orchestra, Rear Orchestra, Front Boxes, or Rear Balcony seating sections. Complimentary ticket availability is not guaranteed for any performance and black-out dates do apply. Please use this form to reserve your comp tickets.

If you cannot use your requested complimentary tickets, you must alert the Box Office at least 24 hours prior to the performance so the tickets may be released and/or exchanged. If you fail to notify the Box Office 24 hours in advance, and your complimentary tickets go unused for a performance, you will be invoiced for 20% of the cost of your ticket as it would be regularly priced.
